Vaccine Entry Requirements For Egypt

Yellow Fever

If traveling directly from the US, Egypt does not require any vaccines to enter.

If your itinerary includes a visit to or a 12+ hour layover in another country before arrival in Egypt, a Yellow Fever vaccine and proof of vaccination may be required to enter. This includes Eritrea, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania, and Zambia. In the absence of a vaccination certificate, the person will be detained in quarantine for up to 6 days after departure from an area at risk of YF virus transmission. South & Central America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela
